Notability
Criteria relevant to this subject
Notability for a costume director can sometimes be clearly determined and sometimes more subtly through prominence of being famous, important, or popular. A costume director can be:
2)- Become
"noteworthy" by
"other means" :#1- cited by peers or successors, #3 through a a significant or well-known work; must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series) or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews.
A path to
notability: For people, the person who is the topic of a biographical article should be "worthy of notice" or "note"—that is, "remarkable" or "significant, interesting, or unusual enough to deserve attention or to be recorded" within Wikipedia as a written account of that person's life. that is usually established by at least the
"basic criteria" and
"advanced" by appropriate sources. I have only looked at one but it was more a content supporting source as apposed to advancing notability.
Comments to "just trim the article and add refs" means the article has too much unsourced material, possibly
original research, or far too little sourcing for all the content, which means some could be plagiarized but I haven't looked. If it survives AFD, and there is no interest in the article, I will consider "trimming" it back to an acceptable stub. As it stands now I would have to
start from scratch.
