Please be aware that Samuel Goldwyn was never a part of M-G-M as stated "Davenport impressed "MGM" executive Samuel Goldwyn". Samuel was never employed or held an executive position within the M-G-M company. His original film company "Goldwyn Pictures Corporation" was purchased by the Metro Film Corporation in 1923 (taking with it the "Leo the Lion" trade mark!
