Following the link to thepeerage.com, and further links within that site, I learn that Doctor Adamson is descended from Sir Egerton Leigh (1733–81), attorney-general of South Carolina and first Baronet; and, through him, from various famous persons. I'm not entirely convinced that any of that is interesting enough to mention in this article. — Tamfang ( talk) 20:03, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
According to birth records, Donald Adamson was born in Newton-le-Willows. I corrected this, however another editor has re-instated a birth place of Culcheth, Warrington (although strangely Warrington is never mentioned in the article). Apart from there being no hospital in Culcheth and if you're family lived in Culcheth you would have been born at Warrington General , the Newton birth district didn't cover Culcheth. As per http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/newton.html, so the Culcheth birth information is false. Strolledonn ( talk) 15:26, 16 August 2014 (UTC)
