@ WorldCrusher: Introductions should accurately summarize the article. I don't see anything in the article that says Losurdo was a politician, nor do I see a clear statement that he was a communist. He participated in the foundation of communist parties, he was their "leader" [1], he helped formulate their ideology, he participated in the party congresses and gave speeches.
