There are currently two different accounts of the origin of Dixie Cornell Gebhart's given names in this article: her mother's love of the south or her father's love of his horses. Is this information really important to the article? I propose deleting it. If it's to be kept, someone needs to reconcile the conflict.

Dixie's Name
I have edited the origin of Dixie's name per her scrapbook, diaries, and letters between her sister, Jackie and her brother which I have. I am Jackie (Anna Josephine) Cornell's great granddaughter. — Preceding
