This is going back about 15 years, but I seem to recall getting a leaflet in my mail slot (I live in Battersea) about extending the District Line from Earls Court to Battersea and onto Waterloo using existing tracks (I think they would have had to have added a spur from Earls Court to the tracks that connect Olympia to Clapham Junction). I can't find anything on it. Does anybody know anything about this? Any links? Are the tracks even the right width? I know there is a train service from Clapham Junction north across the Thames that uses a rarely-used section of track. Thanks in advance to anybody who knows. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.98.149.164 ( talk) 09:46, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
