- I created this article primarily with the AX6E1 configuration to mind because the majority of them violate the VSEPR-predicted structure of pentagonal pyramidal. I guess Jahn-Teller distortion is described under the Jahn-Teller effect article. Perhaps a brief mention of it could be made here.
