I propose that List of dirty blues musicians be merged into Dirty blues. I think the subject matter(s) is not lengthy in content, there seems to be much duplication, and whilst well referenced, these is not much room for expansion in content under either heading. We also have Category:Dirty blues musicians which also tends to duplicate the listing mentioned earlier. - Derek R Bullamore ( talk) 22:42, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

I'm not sure whether these songs are worthy of inclusion, but aficionados of the genre would appreciate the works of Faye Richmonde ( https://www.discogs.com/artist/2807004-Faye-Richmonde). Despite appearances from the album sleeves, the singer Faye Richmonde (real name probably Mabel Smith, 1917–1959) was African-American. The songs were in many cases written by Andy Razaf and Joe Davis, and include such gems as "My Pussy Belongs to Daddy", "The Swelling of the Organ and the Coming of the Bride", "You Ought to See Her Box" (as in, she wasn't good at wrestling, but....), and "It Was Hard When I Kissed Him Goodbye". Fnarr fnarr, as they say. Ghmyrtle ( talk) 10:51, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
