Greetings fellow Wikipedians -
In the spirit of openness, I do communications work with DSA. I know that editing one's own wiki entry is against accepted community practices, which is why I wanted to ask about how to get some out of date information on this listing updated.
All of this information is verifiable on the DSA website at dsa.org.
I fully acknowledge that I am new at being an editor, and that I also believe in being entirely transparent about what I am trying to do. Any guidance that someone might provide would be greatly appreciated - thank you in advance.
Brad

There are an estimated 15.9 million people are involved in direct selling in the US, and more than 90 million worldwide.
Grayfell "The DSA played a role in petitioning the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to exempt multi-level marketing companies from consumer protection regulations outlined in the FTC's 2006 proposed Business Opportunity Rule, procuring 17,000 letters opposing the rule." In that entire sentence, before or after our recent edits, the article still does not support that statement. Editors -
I wanted to mention that I plan to submit an official edit request for the edits I noted 10 days ago below. I invite anyone with feedback to offer ideas before I submit this request. Again, I do not want to do anything untoward, and I have fully disclosed my relationship with the DSA, which is a client.
Thanks so much for your feedback and input - Brad BradReichard ( talk) 12:54, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Editors:
Please note that the name of the Chairman of the Board for this entry was last updated in 2015 - David Holl is no longer the Chairman. If you follow this this reference link you will see that John Parker is now the chairman [1]. The new chairman is John Parker.
Also, the membership is now 130 companies - the membership number listed on the page is also out of date as you can see from the following reference link [2]
Thanks for your assistance!

Dear Wikipedia Editors -
Yesterday, the DSA Board of Directors voted in its new Board of Directors, and Kevin Guest is now the new Chairman of DSA.
Please follow this link [1] to view this news.
When you have a moment, please replace Ryan Napierski's name with Kevin Guest, who is the CEO and Chairman of the Board for USANA Health Science, Inc.
