I suggest we change the name to the Eparchy of Novgorod since it is an eastern Christian entity. Understandably an eparchy and diocese are pretty much the same thing but the word “eparchy” is in common use in English the Orthodox and Eastern Rite Catholic world. Or even change it to Metropoly or Province of Novgorod, since it was elevated to that status several years back.
