Don't mean to be mean guys, but it looks to me as if the plot and trivia section are copywritten material from another website. If permission was given to use this material, or if it's use is legal for some reason I am ignorant of, please forgive, and let me know. Otherwise, I will rewrite the plot(or someone else can yes please, it's kind of fun, but don't make it too long please). I deleted "trivia" because I found another source for I think all the information that was there and put that info elsewhere in the article.-- RainbowWerewolf ( talk) 06:58, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
The infobox says the Hallmark Channel, but a lot of sources say it debuted on ABC. -- RainbowWerewolf ( talk) 07:56, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified 3 external links on Dinotopia (miniseries). Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:

The
Cast section contradicts the
Featured species section. Is his name
Zippo
Steneosaurus (
Cast), or is his name
Zippo Stenosaurus (
Featured species)?
The
Featured species section links Stenosaurus to
Cricosaurus (which does not mention Stenosaurus at all, although
Stenosaurus does redirect to
Cricosaurus), but then
suggests Stenosaurus is short for
Stenonychosaurus, adding that Stenonychosaurus is a type of
Troodon, which
both
articles indicate is questionable. The
Troodon/
Stenonychosaurus articles show bipeds, whereas the
Steneosaurus/
Stenosaurus/Cricosaurus articles show 4-legged (or 4-flippered?) species.
For whatever it's worth, Zippo was a biped, so it
seems unlikely he would be named after a quadruped. However, the
Dinotopia miniseries Featured species section does point out other errors in the show's pronunciation and depiction of prehistoric species. This article should not correct any of the show's errors or outdated information, but should list whatever the show depicted, with notes wherever that differs from current scientific data.
Besides all that, bipedal Dick Wolf is not a quadruped wolf, citation needed so why can't Zippo Stegosaurus have whatever name he wants?
