Is an HDTV adapter is a type of DTV adapter? If so, should HDTV adapter appear here in a section? And what about HDTV tuner, HDTV decoder, HDTV set-top box, etc.? Facts707 ( talk) 22:45, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
Digital Transport Adapter is not the same as a Digital to Analog Adapter (or Converter). A Digital Tranport Adapter (DTA) only receives the tuned channel, hence one DTA box is required per TV/set, and PIP feature of current sets will not work. A Digital to Analog Adapter may only convert a DTV signal for an analog TV set. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.160.11.16 ( talk) 18:05, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
