Existentialism is touched on a great deal in the first and second seasons of Digimon. Could somebody install a section on this please?

Digimon Adventure (1999 TV series) → Digimon: Digital Monsters (1999 TV series) – The title of this page should be changed to the english title of the show which is Digimon: Digital Monsters. I found the old discussion concerning this and the consensus was nobody knew why the page wasn't Digimon: Digital Monsters other than it might create less confusion with the franchise page. That is no longer the case since the franchise page is just called "Digimon" and with the release of the new Digimon Adventure show this page being Digimon Adventure creates more confusion since wikipedia does not redirect to this page when Digimon Digital Monsters is put into the search nor does it redirect to the franchise page nor does it redirect to the new show page.
Using Wikipedia guidance on Artitle titles [1]. Digimon's first season was in a pre-internet time and the kids from that time would know that season best as "Digimon: Digital Monsters" especially if they did not keep up with the franchise which means that Digital Monsters will be the name that is recognised most by someone with knowledge but not an expert. Digital Monsters is the title that most people are looking for and the one that it is actually called. You can see this when you look for physical releases of this season and in the analytics for the page since the move as whilst they are still close this page has more hits. Since the removal of Digital Monsters from the franchise page having the season be called Digimon: Digital Monsters would set it apart from other parts of the franchise. This would create distinction between all of the series' and it would provide consistency with other anime shows on wikipedia by using their original release title and the name of the physical releases in the english speaking world.

I've cleaned up the article and made it more in-line with other pages. I've removed most links to the films and such since they have their own page. I removed the CDs and mangas since the content was small and 20 years ago it probably belongs on a Digimon focused wiki. I've made it clearer about where Digimon: Digital Monsters sits and added links about season 2,3 and 4 linking to 02, Frontier and Tamers. I've did a plot cleanup and the page looks less like the fandom wiki for Digimon Adventure. The plot is probably too tight and needs to be expanded out with links to the character pages. The actual manga should be mentioned as well. LeggoRing ( talk) 22:47, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
I know its controversial in the Digimon sphere to refer to Tamers/Frontier as Season 3 and 4 of Digimon but it was licensed and released as such and should be mentioned within the article somewhere. All western home releases of Tamers and Frontier refer to it as Season 3 and 4 including the ones referenced in the article so please don't remove the references to these releases without discussion.
