I'm far from an expert in biology (and really new to Wikipedia), so please correct me if I'm wrong. A Google search for "Alkaligenes" autocorrects to "Alcaligenes", and a "Alkaligenes" and a Google search for pages with "Alkaligenes" in it returns a lot of results, most of which are either not in English, or are the result of misspelling Alcaligenes faecalis.
This article desperately requires expert attention for possible expansions. Please contribute generously. -- Luthinya 13:09 08 February 2006
