As I noticed that the much bigger fr:Dimítrios Vikélas was today's "Lumière sur..." article on the French Wikipedia, I took the liberty of translating the the first half of his biography, plus the works section and the lead section, into this article. I hope to come back to this and finish it at some point; if anyone feels like doing some then feel free; just drop a note on here so I or someone else don't start at the same time. The biography is done now, and I'm onto the section on the Olympic Movement. Just for reference, I'm leaving out the following quote, which is a nice aside quoted verbatim, but not informative enough (in my opinion) to translate for the benefit of the article:

Which is more correct: Demetrius, as used for the title; or Demetrios, as used in the text?
