Decepticon is covered better in the parent article
Where'd the speedy delete come from? It's not listed in article or image history. - MSTCrow 02:07, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

Let me guess. They are popular due to they turn into military vehicles and have high rating for no reason.( TougHHead 06:33, 4 November 2007 (UTC))
I know that there is already a list of Autobots and list of Decepticons pages, however I would like to know if anyone would be opposed to a Generation 1 list for this page which has both Autobots and Decepticons. It is a bit more compact and you can view it here Libro0 00:42, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
Since the logo was changed by an anonymous user without discussion I am going to replace the other image. I will only do this once since to me it really doesn't matter one way or another. So if someone wants the new one go ahead and change it back. It does not affect the article content. Libro0 ( talk) 18:41, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Under the section on IDW Publishing, when summarizing the events in "The Transformers: Megatron Origin" the article claims that Megatron killed Sentinel Prime. However, it is unclear in the graphic novel if Prime was actually killed or was just in stasis lock. Does anybody have a source that can clarify what Sentinel Prime's status was at the end of "Megatron Origin"?
I find it highly impropable that the name "Decepticon" was influenced by the Italian word diciasette (misspelled "dicasette" in the article, I have already corrected it). Even the claim that the number 17 is unlucky in Italy because vixi is an anagram of XVII sounds extremely far-fetched, but for the moment, I'll take the contributor's word for it. However, I find the similarity between "Decepticon" and diciasette far too distant (what, both begin with the letter "D"?) to be anything but a coincidence. JIP | Talk 17:29, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
This article is hilarious. Don't change anything.

The result of the move request was: withdrawn. Sorry, I missed that extra letter C n DeceptiCon. I guess I need new glasses. -- BrownHairedGirl (talk) • ( contribs) 21:42, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
– The word "deception" is a long-standing dictionary term, which should not be hijacked by a subset of a popular culture topic. There is no clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. BrownHairedGirl (talk) • ( contribs) 16:31, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
All that's here is a bunch of poorly worded information about what the Japanese call decepticons and what forms they have. No examples, no information about their villain story. Disappointed. 24.189.110.244 ( talk) 05:12, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
It doesn't really seem like Autobot and Decepticon are notable by themselves. Perhaps they could be merged into Cybertronian or Transformer (fictional species)? 2605:B40:13E7:F600:949F:C33D:7BD5:A7CC ( talk) 23:47, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
