Thesis details

I haven't had much luck finding details regarding Newbery's thesis. Various biographies (e.g. [1] [2] [3] [4]) list "PhD Cambridge, 1976" but no thesis title or advisor and I haven't had any luck finding details at catalogues like www.theses.com or www.lib.cam.ac.uk/.
