family?
Some
continuity questions about Darnell that could be answered in this article:
Is Darnells family that show up at the wedding (mother & sister) real family (Harry Monroes family) or are they a false family staged for the wedding? Does the witness protection program storyline break continuity with his family showing up and vice versa?

They're his real family. It doesn't make sense but there it is. I don't think either his family background or the bit about witness relocation have been rewritten or retconned. Every now and then you see Darnell mention his family (or see someone like his mother, sister or grandma) but then a few episodes later Darnell will alude to the witness relocation program.
The only thing I can think of that makes the slightest sense is that after he went into the witness protection program his entire family went through it too and everyone in his family is now living under an assumed name in Camden county. Personally I think it's an intentional continuity error on the writers part. They know it doesn't make sense but they still mention his family and the program way too often for me to think it's a simple error (in fact a while back I think they mentioned both in the same episode). --

Greg Garcia revealed in commentary that before Darnell was taken to Camden County, he left clues for his family to find him, and they slowly (and in secret) moved to Camden, first being his grandmother (As shown in "Our "Cops" is On!") then others like sister and mother. Considering how intelligent Darnell is, it should be no surprise that they could easily deduce the clues and find him. Also, a common theory (though not addressed by Garcia) is that Darnell's family is made of higher ups in the government (Uncle filmed the moon landing the first hint) and that they were able to easily find out where Darnell was now living. —Preceding

What game is that Darnell takes poloroids of? He had them on the wall in one episode, with the score also written at the bottom in marker.
