Merge discussion aside, did anyone notice that Ana Lucia's boyfriend (the one who got her pregnant)
is also named Danny? Could there be a connection there? I think this should be mentioned in the article.

Christian Shepherd used the alias "Tom", but this is nothing to do with Mr. Friendly. Or Kate's childhood sweetheart. Different people with the same first name, nothing more to it than that.

Not necessarily, Ethan is still appearing in episodes (at least two more before the end of the season) and has been an important Other since the first season. Anyway, getting back on topic, Pickett was essentially a background character until a couple of episodes this season and it doesn't look like we'll be finding out more about him anytime soon. His page is pretty short - I guess a merge back would make sense.

Ethan should be kept because he still appears in episodes. Danny Pickett should go, he is dead and not appearing any time soon (If ever) - Russell29talkcontributions 16:30, 28 March 2007 (UTC)reply
This article shouldn't exist. A lot of this information has been drawn out and can be contracted into something a lot smaller that can fit on The Others general article.

Strong merge: All of the above points (except for Ethan having to go to - he's more important). --SilvaStorm
Strong merge. The article is too short, and Danny won't be coming back. He hasn't had any major interaction with the Losties other than torturing them and being a jerk, and (since he's dead) he won't in the future, not even in flashbacks. –

Merge
Danny Pickett should be re-merged with its original article.
Why
As the other have discussed above, the article dosen't have that much information to do it to an article.
In the beginning of the article named
The others of
Lost. The text about Danny Pickett was in partnership of the artice of The Others of the Lost-series.
If Danny goes into merge of the article The Other, it dosen't mean that Dr. Ethan Rom should also be merged with it's original article, Dr. Ethan Rom is a prominent Other and will as one the editor of Wikipedia said, he will peobably return for another episode.
I would also nominate the article Others (Lost) to be renamed to The Others (Lost), Why, because the name of the article is quit simple and dosen't sounds attractiv, its only my view of the case, others could have a different view of it, i accept it.
The more episodes Mikhail and Richard Alpert (it's not unlikely that he will pass Pickett by the end of the season) are in, the more I think that this page should be merged with the Others. --thedemonhogtalkcontributions 23:40, 23 April 2007 (UTC)reply
Hmm. You make a good point. If Mikhail is in another episode after Man Behind the Curtain (which I perceive there's a significant chance of), he will match the number of episodes Pickett appeared in, and is arguably as important plot-wise. How about merging this back now, before a Mikhail article is created with the argument that if Pickett has one, so should he?

Merge! This article shouldn't even exist. I don't know why it was even moved from
The Others article in the first place.
Einbierbitte 22:28, 29 April 2007 (UTC)reply
Pickett is not important in the overall Lost storyline. Mikail and Richard (considering if both of them appear in
Through the Looking Glass) will both be in as many episodes that Pickett has been in, and they are both far more important in the story and in the Others hierarchy. Pickett is just a worthless thug, whilethose two are very important members of the Others society. Also, Ethan shouldn't be merged, cause he is very important to the overall story. —The preceding

it does not warrent its own page
There is no reason to re-direct people here, As the charecter seems to be finished off (in the Ana Lucia sense not the Patchy sense) No information would likely be coming in. Therefore this article (as well as charecter) does not contain enough relevent information to warrent it's own page.

He hasnt made an apperance since his death, unlike Ethan, so there seems little point in his own page

Merge Completed
Well, this debate has been going on far too long and there isn't any consensus to keep Danny on his own page. He's back with the rest of the Others now.
