Dan Henderson lost his last fight at Bushido 10 by U.D,Misaki walked away with the victory. Check Sherdog.com for the correct ruling and more information on Henderson's fight at Bushido 10.
"Dangerous" Dan Henderson, is not Hollywood, at all. He is one of the kindest, silliest, guys you could meet; with such tremendous class that it would surprise most. The Team Quest organization has become highly recognized over the past year, or so, due to the success of Henderson, as well as some of his team mates, such as Matt Lindland and over-night power house sensation, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. Henderson's most recent gym with Team Quest, located in Murietta, California has become one of the most sought after training facilities in Mixed Martial Arts, and continues to turn out top notch fighters as it grows in popularity. Managed by Co-Owner, friend, and former USA Olympic Wrestler, Heath Sims, the facility caters to people of all ages and levels of expertise. In addition, Clinch Gear, an athletic clothing line now co-owned by Henderson, is proving to be yet another success for him. Highly personable and intelligent, Henderson demonstrates himself to be, not only a great fighter, but an excellent coach and businessman, as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Audreyfickle ( talk • contribs) 02:15, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

He is the middleweight and welterweight champ of PRIDE, PRIDE had no light heavyweight division. They called it the middleweight division, like the UFC used to. SuzukS 07:40, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Well the weights listed for weight classes are wrong... "Welterweight 183 lb (83 kg; 13.1 st) and Middleweight 205 lb (93 kg; 14.6 st) "
Welterweight is 140 pounds (63.5 kg), and middleweight is 160 pounds (72.64 kg). Not altogether sure where the weights listed have come from, other than if it is some special MMA weight class thing. If so it should be listed as such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.170.10.166 ( talk) 00:03, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Is it just me or does the description of the Shields fight seem a little bias. I think saying something like, "Despite hurting Shields and knocking him down in the 1st round, Henderson went on to lose by unanimous decision." would be good enough to describe the fight. IMO, the rest just seems to be there to down play Shields' performance.
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Dan Henderson's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

For many years Dan Henderson's unofficial, but widely used, nickname was "Decision." He was one of the original lay and pray artists, and his record showed this. How many different citations will I need so that the Henderson slobberers don't take down decision from his list of nicknames? If I provide 4-6 different sources it better not get taken back down. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adam1134 ( talk • contribs) 00:20, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
The article says this:
"In his first year of MMA competition, Henderson won the Brazil Open, a four-man heavyweight tournament."
But the career chart lists the Brazil Open matches as LIGHTWEIGHT. Heavyweight seems more credible (I don't believe Henderson has fought that light in his career). Nonetheless, I would appreciate some clarification on this matter. Jackbox1971 ( talk) 04:51, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

I am pretty sure no one doubts the legacy of Fedor, including Dan Henderson. The official record, however, is how the referee and judges saw the fight, and Wikipedia should be a source of facts. The information for the results of Henderson's fights are inaccurate. The match up against Rua hasn't happened yet but it reads as Rua having lost due to "anal rape". The editing for the fights' results following Rua's through Wanderlai Silva are also inaccurate. A good web page to reference for accurate results is www.sherdog.com. The appropriate results are as follows: Win Fedor Emelianenko TKO (punches) Win Rafael Cavalcante TKO (punches) Win Renatio Sobral KO (punches) Loss Jake Shields Decision (unanimous) Win Michael Bisping KO (punch) Win Rich Franklin Decision (split) Win Rousimar Palhares Decision (split) Loss Anderson Silva Submission (rear-naked choke) Loss Quinton Jackson Decision (unanimous) Win Wanderlai Silva KO (punches)

Please stop changing the method from KO to TKO.
By the unified rules and regulations of mixed martial arts, the fight is deemed a KO and not a TKO when the fighter is rendered unconscious. Henderson's body was clearly limp as the head kick landed and he fell to the canvas, unconscious. The official ruling is seen in the three links below citing the official event on the UFC website, the official Sherdog event and the unified rules of Mixed Martial Arts, respectively.
