Have heard many stories about places where Dalbeattie Grantie has been used but no one seems to be able to provide any proof as to whether they are true. For example this page says it was used to build parts of Windsor Castle? If anyone can assist here is my list of places.....

Dalbeattie is still part of the UK, miles are used in the UK not KM, hences distances should be shown in miles not KM's. -- Devokewater (talk) 12:01, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
Would it not be a good idea to specify the burn in question, if only distinguish it from the river Urr- given that the article states that "Dalbeattie is in a wooded valley on the Urr Water"- and this might cause confusion to those unfamiliar with Scots toponomy, let alone local geography?
