Just to clear things up, Misty Honey's transformation pharse is the same as Honey's. Not "Honey Crash" as the site "Lovely Warrior, Cutey Honey" reports.
Cutey Honey? What on earth?
Let me guess... Just because it's Cutey Honey in the USA, it's Cutey Honey in Wikipedia? That's just sad.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.113.164.104 ( talk • contribs) .
Cutie Honey redicts here, doesn't seem problematic to me. Jok2000 18:33, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
The original series, the live-action movie and the Gainax OVA are officially romanized as "Cutie Honey". However, New Cutey Honey and Cutey Honey Flash are officially romanized as "Cutey Honey". New Cutey Honey even has the English above the Katakana in the title. Occasionally the original series is also romanized as "Cutey Honey" in Japan, such as on the Cutey Honey Roman Album. -- Megadeus 20:23, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
Does anyone have a picture of her? It seems a bit silly to spend half the page talking about all of her transformations without showing a picture. Moly

Since that and other images are deleted now, I've added one showing my two volumes of the 1970s "Shonen Champion Comics" manga. It's probably not the most familiar or popular version, but it is certainly one of the first. Hopefully it can stay on the Infobox for more than a week. :P -- an odd name 03:31, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
I have removed the lists of various media --- the infobox already does that job. I have moved the episode title lists to here rather than removing them, however, in case someone wants to actually do something with them (eg make a 'List of Cutey Honey episodes' or something). I have moved the painfully long list of Honey's forms and villans to here. It is horridly trivial, and probably can be completely deleted, but someone has put a lot of work into it, so I do not wish to kill it off completely. If someone wants to use it is some way (eg 'List of Honey's forms' or 'List of villans in Cutey Honey'), it is preserved here. Elric of Grans 23:18, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

That translation sounds like something Babelfish spit out. The original kanji (kuuchuu genso kotei souchi - 空中元素固定装置, from the japanese wiki) translates into something like "airbourne chemical elements fixation device," or more concisely "Elemental Manipulation Device" or "Airbourne Elemental Fixation Device." I'd edit it myself, but I'm sure I'd do something wrong and break the wiki or something. It is my understanding that this franchise (whose initial 70's anime was actually intended for all ages) created controversy even in Japan. I believe that Absolute Anime mentioned that the original 70's anime got cancelled because Japanese viewers thought it was too "overt". Now since I don't have enough reliable sources to go into detail, I won't post it. However, I am requesting that there be a "Controversy" section with reliable sources to go with it. I myself am not against this franchise, but from a neutral point of view, I think it needs to be mentioned.
On a side note, I am told that this (the 70's series) was the first anime broadcast in Japan to contain full frontal nudity (which I am also told only lasts a second or two during the transformation sequences). Brittany Ka 13:41, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
Is this series really both? Thought the demographic could only be one, not more than that. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru ( talk • edits) 00:23, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
"not so revealing outfit" is imprecise: less cleavage is shown, but others do not show her midriff, rear end, etc. (see, e.g., header image on source 23). (In the revision summary, I said "38" instead of "23") -- an odd name 02:56, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Perhaps the boldest (or most insane) edit I've made on an article yet. Among the changes I made, big and small:
I don't expect it to stay for long (and my citations do make the page nice and big :) ), but I would hope that at least some changes stay; I think they would make Cutie Honey better-structured and more comprehensive—but if not, be just as bold and revert it.
— an odd name 09:19, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
I'll probably be removing the various Staff sections in the article. There are some notable and probably-notable staff involved (Calvello being picked by Nagai, Nagai himself of course, Kousei Tomita reprising his 70s Danbei role in New Cutie Honey, and Anno directing the film and OVA seem especially notable) but I highly doubt we need to know, for example, every seiyū who's played Natsuko or the name of every animation director of Cutie Honey Flash. Furthermore, the uncited lists can only hinder adoption of this as a GA (none of the featured anime articles, nor at least one-third of the anime GAs, have such sections)—and personally I think the apparent First Lady of shōnen and magical-warrior manga deserves a GA or better. :)
If there's no grievances, I'll gladly do so on Monday and let anyone else who cares re-add them (though I'd prefer any notable staff member be discussed in the prose, and shown to be important, instead). I'd do it right away, but considering I cannot even remove something as trivial as her eye color without a re-add, I'll wait for some comments first. (I did not wait for comments for my self-proclaimed " major edit" because I did not remove much there. Also, I don't imply that, e.g., the notes on the lesser manga editions I've added are unimportant as well, since the lead specifically mentions "numerous manga series" and my notes help substantiate the lead.)

Is this some kind of wrestling terminology or just a typo? It appears to need amending slightly, but I'm unsure what to put in its place. -- Sugarbutty 20:08, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
I noticed that Anilro ( talk · contribs) created two spinout articles today, Cutie Honey Flash and Re:Cutie Honey, without any discernible prior discussion or need for a split. Was this appropriate, or should the articles just be speedied/prodded/merged back? — Dino guy 1000 21:28, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
I just fixed a bunch of links (See here and here) so they'd point to the articles for Cutie Honey F, New Cutie Honey, Re: Cutie Honey and the live-action film. If there's any more that (wrongly) lead here, they should be fixed too.-- Nohansen ( talk) 04:38, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
On a possibly related note, I've proposed deletion of the Panther Claw stub linked from this article (that I started), for similar reasons as my prod of the List of Cutie Honey characters (i.e. characters are or will be covered in each series).
