How can the Fairchild version be called the SBF when F is Grummans designation code? There is even a link at the top of the article to a page about a Grumman XSBF scout bomber that was never produced. I didn't think the Navy system was so irrational as to use the same manufacturer letter for two different companies while the same aircraft are still in service.
