A statement in this article:

"just as Janus’s name comes from the Latin word for door, ianua.[8][9][10]"

Contradicts a statement in the article on Janus:

 "He has under his tutelage the stepping in and out of the door of homes,[29] the ianua, which took its name from him,[30] and not vice versa.[31]"

I am no Roman scholar so I have no idea which is true, but the three references in this article are Etruscan history books, so might not be as well researched as a Roman history book [30] which is: F. Altheim History of Roman Religion London 1938 p. 194; V. Basanoff, Les dieux des Romains (Paris, 1942), p. 18.
