Reception

It seems this novel had a fairly negative reception. I glanced through some of the linked reviews and pretty much all of them at least agreed that the plot didn't advance much, and some were very critical. If you check out the reviews at amazon.com of the book, you'll notice they are quite negative (almost two thirds of the reviews are one star, the lowest possible). Does this bear repeating in the article? Lord Seth ( talk) 20:38, 14 January 2008 (UTC) reply

Even the linked reviews are far too positive. This book has about 3000 reviews on Amazon , and the average customer review is 1 (One) Star (making COT Amazons worst rated product ).

Publication

CoT was available in the UK considerably earlier than the official publication date. I bought my copy on Monday, 22 December 2002, for example. Normally these early releases don't matter, but in this case it does because it changes the year the book was released (even though it was an early release presumably because copies of the book were clogging up the warehouse: the copyright page still says 2003). Perhaps this should be reflected in the article?-- Werthead ( talk) 04:04, 25 May 2008 (UTC) reply
