While I was doing research on the Mormon Esperanto Society for an article forthcoming in the Journal of Mormon History, I found out that Crawford Gates had collaborated with famed Esperantist William Auld to create a new Esperanto hymn. I added this information to the page. I had several oral history interviews with Paul Kern for information on the Mormon Esperanto Society, and I found out that Crawford Gates was his father-in-law. That's how he was able to set up their collaboration. Rachel Helps (BYU) ( talk) 16:32, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
