This page needs major revamp as it only talks about sugar cooperative societies and their problems. 1) Need to create a section for Sugar sector. 2) Need to add information about other sectors like Milk and Edible Oil. The most successful cooperative societies, unions and federations in India are in Milk e.g. AMUL and Edible-Oil e.g. Dhara Gurudutt ( talk) 08:07, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
Please start working on the Milk and Edible oil sectors. Don't not forget that there are vegetable and fruit cooperatives too. Good luck. Jonathansammy ( talk) 21:49, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
As compared to rest of India , I found that cooperative movement in Kashmir is not as good as in rest of the country. As I am working in the cooperative department in Budgam district and every primary level society, block level society , district level society & even jakfed or confed are dormant. What can be the possible reason and how can we bring our cooperative societies par with rest of India. Bandayjavaid ( talk) 17:32, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
