Discontinuity set

I removed the material because

  1. the definition in the source has local scope
  2. the term "sparse collection" is nonstandard
  3. the observation applies to arbitrary collections of mutually exclusive events

boundary set

I am guessing in this article denotes the boundary set, but I do not know for sure. -- Drizzd ( talk) 07:16, 14 July 2011 (UTC) reply

Yes it is. linas ( talk) 16:04, 29 July 2012 (UTC) reply

Counterexample needed

Article needs counter-example: a Borel set that is not a continuity set... In particular, the article on convergence of measures states that a sequence of measures P_n converges weakly when

lim P_n(A) = P(A) for all continuity sets A of measure P.

while, removing the word 'continuity' converts the above defintion into strong convergence. linas ( talk) 16:15, 29 July 2012 (UTC) reply
