I think it would be worth noting that some autors do not absorve the number two into the conductance quantum

I just now started reading Datta's Quantum Transport book and in the fundamental constants listing he writes G_0 = e²/h. It is just a matter of absorbing a number into a constant vs. writing the number explicitly each time. When one writes the 2 explicitly the conductance quantum is that of a single channel wo/ the two spins. -- Smalde ( talk) 10:38, 26 April 2017 (UTC) reply
