I'm not interested in lengthy discussions. Any further “Compiz is dead” vandalism will be reported. -- KAMiKAZOW ( talk) 13:31, 30 March 2012 (UTC) I don't see why that would be vandalism. In that case you could mention any contribution as vandalism IMO. RoestVrijStaal ( talk) 00:49, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Currently, Compiz 0.9.x is included in most mainstream distros, and is used by default in Ubuntu (including the upcoming LTS version, which relies on stability). Should it be listed alongside 0.8 as a stable version? Just want to have your opinions. Zombifier ( talk) 09:11, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
See, this is hopelessly outdated. I've even contacted Sam Spilsbury via mail once, and he confirmed that all current work is done on the launchpad portal. Plus, the forum accessible from "compiz.org" is entirely orphaned - with the last entry being around 2008 (read: FIVE years ago). Hence, keeping this URL is simply no longer a sensible thing to do. -andy 77.190.20.150 ( talk) 18:38, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
Dates dont add up: in novembe 2012 he left cannonical, a month later (dec 2012) said he will maintain it, six months later (june 2013) he said that he had stopped working on it in august 2013.
There is no stress mark in the pronunciation. Is "Compiz" stressed on the first syllable? — 91.238.123.116 ( talk) 09:10, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
Hi, I'm posting to request that the wording …"and modernized it" in the Compiz Reloaded section be changed to …"and maintains it as of 2016", since the meaning of "modernized" changes over time. Thanks for considering this! (I'm making an edit request instead of making the change myself since I use and have contributed some patches to Compiz-Reloaded, so I probably have a conflict of interest.) —{{u| Goldenshimmer}}|✝️|ze/zer|😹| T/C|☮️|John15:12|🍂 03:01, 24 November 2016 (UTC)
Hardware requirements section seems a bit messy and self-contradictory. 84.248.218.89 ( talk) 07:52, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
