Did he actually run as a CPA candidate? The ABC website seems to list him (on the ballot at least) as being unaffiliated - http://www.abc.net.au/elections/nsw/2012/council/?page=Auburn#Council I'm not doubting that Mr Oldfield is a CPA member and it's probably legitimate to count him on the ticker since we normally change the numbers if someone did this in a state or federal parliament but perhaps the wording in the article needs to be changed slightly? There was recently another split, with splitting members forming the “Australian Communist Party”. This should be reflected in the article. Locochoko ( talk) 13:09, 1 June 2019 (UTC)
