For what it's worth, I'm a native of Harrisburg PA and practically grew up at Hersheypark. I have been to the park and ridden the Comet literally hundreds of times and have never heard the first hill of the Comet referred to as the "Chocolate Drop". I've never seen or heard the label in promotional stuff and certainly never heard the term used by the public. I don't doubt that someone, somewhere along the line, used the term, but I don't think it's accurate to say that it's "also known as". PurpleChez ( talk) 13:16, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
The references to the Hershey Community Archives for the new train information and the new trains' names are not specific enough to verify the citation. I was not able to find the specific citation browsing the HCA link. Can someone either find a more specific citation pointer in the HCA or else find another source for this information?
