I'm a little confused: "The drainage basin or watershed of the Colorado River encompasses 246,000 sq mi (640,000 km2) of southwestern North America, making it the seventh largest on the continent" but this seems to say fifth largest
[1] - or am I not reading it correctly?
Ah, I see how it could have been confusing there. #7 is in parentheses next to the basin size in the table. The list is organized by alphabetic order.

article uses a lot of dashes which may be a problem if the article goes to FAC.
This is quite a read but is extremely well done, in my opinion. There's a lot of information in this article, all of it interesting. Wonderful pictures and great links to other, relevant articles. I've done a bunch of editing that you are free to revert.
