Can someone confirm which flag Kazim should be listed under. Its either Turkey, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus or England. Ive left it as England until it can be confirmed. The official SUFC website says Nationality is England. Please make the appropriate changes citing sources, thanks hawksworthm 13:50, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
While I accept the diacritics and letter forms are an integral part of the Turkish language and therefore of the original version of this name, CKR's name was registered at a UK registry office, and therefore the legal (and best known) version of his name would be Kazim, not Kâzım. I would suggest that in an encyclopedia accuracy to the facts should take precedence over a desire to apply retrospectively a traditional orthography, and thus propose a move (a return, in fact) of the article to
Colin Kazim-Richards, and use of English orthography except in the explanation of the origins of his name.

With no apparent evidence of English usage of current title, support this move. — AjaxSmack 14:24, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
This article has been renamed from Colin Kâzım-Richards to Colin Kazim-Richards as the result of a move request. -- Stemonitis 06:08, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Can someone please turn the page title to:Colin Kâzım Richards. That's his name. I changed all of them in the article but the page title should be changed also. rokkafellah ( talk) 20:21, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
I guess you're right. Colin changed his name to 'Kâzım Kâzım' though. Look at www.fenerbahçe.org. rokkafellah ( talk) 20:21, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
The contributions by User:Rokkafellah in this discussion were made on 7/8 October 2007: the 1 August 2008 date refers to the editor replacing a SineBot signature with his/her own. Kevin McE ( talk) 08:17, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
The infobox states that Kazim-Richards' scoring record for Fenerbahçe is 26 games/0 goals. Yet the article mentions two goals he has scored. I don't have the data necessary to update this myself (as I only know of the UEFACL goals mentioned in the article - not how many games he has played or any other goals he might have scored). Cynical ( talk) 23:00, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Because it states at the bottom of the infobox "Senior club appearances and goals counted for the domestic league only". ( Mixed_Ham ( talk) 04:09, 3 April 2008 (UTC))
Pretty sure he was known to UEFA as Colin Kazim-Richards over the last couple of weeks and not Kazim Kazim. Any evidence to illustrate the need for a change on the English language wikipedia. Londo 06 11:45, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
The article stats that turkey is an islamic country, when Turkey is in fact Secular, and has been since Attaturk. Article should be corrected?

I also want to add to this and state that it is untrue that people are not allowed to have non-Turkish names in Turkey. This common misconception exists, because a lot of people who gain citizenship end up Turkicizing their names to better integrate into society (I actually think some of them just have fun trying to find a Turkish name to adapt). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.187.67.69 ( talk) 09:44, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
This individual was born in England of a father who has Antiguan ancestry and a Cypriot mother. It is highly misleading to describe his nationality in one word. We do not allocate nationality by ethnicity, and there is no evidence of recent generations of his family being from Turkey.
Edit note accusations of vandalism need to be justified. Kevin McE ( talk) 22:52, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
Someone has been messing around with the teams this player has played for. I cant edit as I don't know the exact info myself but Dylan fc and westwood rovers or whatever someone had put is clearly a load of rubbish 81.159.128.36 ( talk) 22:20, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
