Dubious

Looking at photos of this canal, I doubt very much that 7 locks raise the canal 250 feet. That would be 33 feet per lock. Derek Andrews ( talk) 19:33, 1 December 2008 (UTC) reply

The 250 ft quoted included the inclined planes, of which there were at least three: Drumreagh, Ballymenagh and Smith's. Note added to article. Bob1960evens ( talk) 15:40, 14 February 2009 (UTC) reply

Route Diagram

I have added a very basic route diagram, but cannot find any local maps to fill in details of bridges, etc. OS Getamap only has 1:250,000, Streetmap doesn't cover N Ireland, Google only has roads and no other features on its map, and the satellite images appear to be from satellites, with no aerial photography layer. Anyone know where I can find maps? Bob1960evens ( talk) 21:20, 9 February 2011 (UTC) reply
