I added the Astronomy banner. Also added a recent observation (with an inline citation) relating to solar wind heating. The date may be wrong, it was the date of the press release, but the article appeared in June. Puzl bustr ( talk) 22:43, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: consensus not to move. Andrewa ( talk) 19:53, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
Cluster (spacecraft) →
Cluster_mission — The Cluster(spacecraft) page describes in fact the ESA/NASA Cluster mission. Thus it makes more sense to REDIRECT the Cluster (spacecraft) to the Cluster mission page rather than the other way around. No merger needed --Arnaud Masson 17:13, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
The question was raised above as to whether Cluster (satellite) might be a more appropriate article title. Wikipedia:WikiProject Spaceflight/Article titles reads in part Use "(satellite)" as a disambiguator for unmanned spacecraft operating independently in geocentric orbit; Use "(spacecraft)" as a disambiguator for other spacecraft (my punctuation). This seems to recommend the current name, as these satellites are neither in geosynchronous orbits nor operating independently.
Two issues:
Interested in other views as always. Andrewa ( talk) 20:08, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
(Ahem) so now my red face is fading, I wonder should I or someone else propose a move to Cluster (satellite)? In hindsight I should have relisted the move above to allow more discussion on this but that is a past opportunity. I'll ask the good people at WikiProject Spaceflight again. Andrewa ( talk) 21:26, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
I am firmly against to rename this page as Cluster (satellite) since the Cluster mission is composed of 4 satellites flying in constellation.Arnaud Masson — Preceding unsigned comment added by Masson75 ( talk • contribs) 12:43, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
I've noticed this article has a section with external links to many of the discoveries this mission has made. While I applaud the effort to demonstrate the impact this mission has had, I'm concerned it's not quite in line with WP:NOTLINK. External links are generally minimized in most Wikipedia articles, with the preferred approach being that the content would be incorporated into the article itself where practical.
Long story short, I believe this article would be improved if this section actually discussed some of the most important discoveries and milestones in text (with appropriate citations), rather than referring the reader to several dozen external links.
