This is a grade I listed building with historical connections mentioned in the article - doesn't that count for something? If not, then the information here (and there is information here) should be folded into University of Bristol and this made into a redirect. I have sources that could beef up the architectural content (don't have time in the next hour or so, but later).
This clearly doesn't fit A3 - there is content here. With its combination of archtectural merit and a literary connection I think A1 is dobutful, too. This is not just someone's college hall. -- rbrwr ± 20:31, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

I believe that Crosshaven House by Davis Ducat, built in 1769 was "inspired by" Clifton Hill House. Perhaps that is worth a mention here. Recent Runes ( talk) 15:44, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
