I moved this article back to its present location due to the fact that the article was not about Clanwilliam, Manitoba but rather about a whole rural area. ( I also moved correspondence from user talk that occurred prior to my moving this article back to the original title. ) Stormbay 22:17, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
I disagree that the note is not necessary. A search of "Clanwilliam" directs to a town in South Africa. I don't think that this would be the intent of most people. The barony of Clanwilliam predates all other towns and fish species by hundreds of years. It is entitled to a first place, but this was "robbed" by the South African town taking the Wiki name first. The note is clearly necessary. I propose to undo this deletion unless somebody can convince me otherwise. Laurel Lodged ( talk) 20:28, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
The r.m. has been moved back to its original page. I left the talk pages as is for now. It needs an admin, I believe. Go to Rural Municipality of Clanwilliam for the R.M. I've done the best that I could here. There is a general mess from trying to have a naming policy for the R.M.'s which is confusing and (sometimes) just wrong. -- Stormbay ( talk) 22:51, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
