The rewrite is partially complete. There are many more details to be added. But unfortunately I do not have the time at the moment.
The rewrite of the article was requested bij the WP, article as it stands, I feel, does justice to the subject.

I have altered the link to the 2nd Duke of Wellington's article, changing it from Lord Wellesley - he had become Duke on his father's death in 1852, before the purchase of land he owned by the cemetery. Cloptonson ( talk) 18:38, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
The author describes the cemetery as being in the London Borough of Newham. But checking its location on maps and a reference to it in the article on St. Mary Woolnoth Church in the City of London (where it is stated that bones in the crypt were transferred to Ilford), I believe it should be located in the London Borough of Redbridge.
The cemetery is not mentioned in the article on Ilford, but that article points out that Little Ilford was in West Ham and this is where the confusion may have arisen.
I would appreciate if this problem was considered promptly.
