Information to be added or removed: Cindy Mi has been recognized as one of Glassdoor’s Top 100 CEOs in 2019 [1], one of only 14 women to make the list. Additionally, Crunchbase listed her as #1 on the list of 50 Female Entrepreneurs Everyone Should Know [2] and she was a recipient of the ASU + GSV Summit 2019 Power of Women Award [3].

Explanation of issue: Adding demonstration of notability through awards.

I can not make this edit myself, as I have a declared conflict of interest around articles related to VIPKid, as my employer. -Philippe ( talk) 21:59, 21 June 2019 (UTC) reply

Philippe: done, with minor wording/style changes and a more specific link for ASU + GSV. BlackcurrantTea ( talk) 11:19, 23 June 2019 (UTC) reply

"In March 2019, Mi launched VIPTeach, a nonprofit that focuses on eliminating socioeconomic and geographic barriers that disallow many students from receiving a high-quality education. The VIPTeach mission is built upon three pillars: online education workforce development, teacher empowerment, and access to education. One key project that VIPTeach focuses on is its Rural Education Project, that provides online, live English classes to thousands of Chinese students living in rural, impoverished areas. [1] Additionally, VIPTeach aims to empower teachers through professional development opportunities, as well as provide financial relief to teachers who face hardships. VIPTeach created its Teacher Courage Awards program to recognize teachers who still display teaching excellence while facing hardships."

Conflict of Interest

Almost the entirety of the article looks like it was written by someone affiliated with the subject of the article. Already, someone with a clear conflict of interest has requested a major change that was denied, and then another such person requested and received an edit that further embellished the subject's credentials. Either this article should be massively cleaned up, or simply deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SaltySeas ( talkcontribs) 13:55, 9 April 2020 (UTC) reply

Remove: VIPKid teachers recently learned that their pay will be affected by changes by a new "bonus structure". Previously, teachers could make up to $2 per class on top of their base pay. A new sliding scale of bonuses was announced, with bonuses ranging from $0.80 to $2.60 per class. Teachers quickly realized that a few teachers will make more money, but most will make less. This comes at a time when VIPKid has raised the fees students pay for classes.

Explanation of issue: Information has already been added to main company article and is detracting from this article's main subject. Addition has no source and appears to be an opinion piece.
