The Amazing One?

I have heard some very religious Catholic call her "Saint Christina the Amazing One", yesterday. Is that unofficial English?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.247.84.142 ( talk) 17:59, October 2, 2008

She is known as Christina Mirabilis in Latin, which is usually translated as Christina the Astonishing, but I suppose "Amazing One" might be another way of translating it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.126.148.19 ( talk) 04:21, 18 July 2009 (UTC) reply
Annus Mirabilis is usually translated as Wonderful Year, so I guess she could be Wonderful Christina too, or Christina the Wonderful, if that didn't sound like a side-show attraction. Mnudelman ( talk) 23:50, 10 March 2015 (UTC) reply

We get a choice of credulous medieval superstition or hysteria? That sums up "modern interpretation"? Science is easy! -- 142.163.194.71 ( talk) 22:01, 24 July 2021 (UTC) reply
