The English in this article is horrible. It was obviously written by an Italian with only a cursory knowledge of English and an Italian-English dictionary at his disposal. I tried to work on it, but my computer crashed and I lost all of my edits. So I'm taking a break for now. If anyone wants to give this a stab, I'll be grateful! ask123 ( talk) 23:29, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
I suggest the next phrase to be validated with citations or - better - completely omitted: "Criticism has often likened his acting to that of Alberto Sordi". The two actors are completely different in class, roles, career lenght and awards. I don't want to trash De Sica Jr. but his career has been mostly made of 'cinepanettoni' that, even if selling quite well in Xmas time, are usually seen as B class movies both from critics and spectators. It's true that De Sica Jr. took inspiration from Sordi in many of his acts, but comparing the two actors is completely out of discussion, I invite anybody interested to have a look to Mr. Sordi page (especially the Filmography and Awards paragraphs) to understand what I mean.
