I removed the reference to cows being in the shed as neither external link mentions this and it seems to contradict the food restrictions. -- JBellis ( talk) 22:05, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

I think this article is not nearly as sparse as when the notice was posted. If no objections, I'll remove in a week. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HereAndSometimesThere ( talk • contribs) 18:17, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
Hi there, I added a section about community action against the practice, as there are community and organizational initiatives working towards ending the practice of chhaupadi (I currently know of SRHR initiatives, social mindset change initiatives, the handing out of sustainable menstrual products, etc, being implemented via the NGO sector in addition to government action). However, this section might be better off if combined into the "Legislation" chapter - which could be expanded and redefined a bit. Essentially, the actions and challenges about the stigma and how it is being addressed should be incorporated into the article in addition to legal issues (there have been many initiatives happening in-country for years).
Any opinions on this? HereAndSometimesThere ( talk) 10:00, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
