She could not have been the "Dauphine of France", the Salic Law prevented females from inheriting the throne since 1316. She was thus a Princess of France, not a Dauphine. The only women entitled to bear that name were the wives of the Dauphin. Gonzalo Velasco. — Preceding

Doesn't make sense - how can she be the lesbian lover of her parents? - at least according to
here.

Plus, she was eight years old when she died, so it's unlikely she was the lesbian lover of anybody. I'm reverting to the initial entry.

Okay, now I'm thinking the original was saying she was born anywhere between 1516 and 1524, and I found another Charlotte de Valois supposedly born in 1461. So who knows. I'm reverting to the original entry and leaving the verification tag up.
