This just aired on closing credits of Simpsons, perhaps someone can throw this in.
Anybody got a source on that, he's in the category but no mention in the text? Cheers Cdyson37 23:32, 18 September 2005 (UTC)
hi
well, there are articles about it on the charles-trenet.net site, such as this:
http://www.charles-trenet.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=46 (and when i can figure out how to create link here I guess i'll try to work it into the article!

Kurt, good job of working it into the article, except for the "It's only fair" bit at the beginning. If what went before necessitated that then it (what went before) should be made more neutral so that the article itself is not seen as making a judgment on the appropriateness of Trenet's choices here. -- Vaughan Pratt ( talk) 02:19, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
My main thought about the article so far is that it has a lot of biogrphical data, but doesn't really say too much about his career, especially not his career in the 30s and 40s which would seem to be key. i added a couple graphs at the beginning trying to give an overview, which seemed to be missing. i'm afraid i don't know French enough to have read Trenet's novels, but it would be interesting if someone familiar with them could add some information about them.
I'd like to see the reference claiming phallic themes for "Y'a de la joie". I'm sceptical. Denis 03:19, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

I request do not include his conviction. To me that is unnecessary gossip. Many, many people have had some unfortunate incident(s) in their lives. Sometimes they get found out, sometimes not. I don;t see any value in digging up such things. I am not criticizing the idea, just expressing my opinion about it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.17.146.244 ( talk) 01:56, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
