The actor Charles Coghlan was born in Paris, France on June 11, 1842. His father Frances was a native of Dublin and worked as a topographical author. Aime, his mother, was from the Bailiwick of Jersey. In 1861 the family was living in Hull, Yorkshire where Charles' occupation was recorded as comedian. By 1871 Charles Coghlan was living with his wife Elizabeth in Twickenham and working as an actor. John F. Barlow His 1899 New York Times obituary wrote that Coghlan owned a home on Prince Edward Island. John F. Barlow ( talk) 07:51, 23 January 2012 (UTC)( talk) 07:34, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
