- Support. Yep, this article is redundant. The content overlaps that of
Indeterminism, especially the subsections “Ancient Greece” and “Modernity,” which appear in the other article almost verbatim. Indeterminism is longer and more comprehensive than Chance; this article does not present any new information. Sure, the word “chance” has a different definition than the word “indeterminism,” but only because it's more vague; many of it's meanings don't warrant an entire encyclopedia entry and
Wikipedia is not a dictionary. This article is a great candidate for a
merge, so I am going to
be bold and turn this page into a redirect to Indeterminism.
