Just curious... Where was Chamillionaire born? this seems like a disputed issue.. Was he born in Houston, TX or another part of Texas or was he born in Washington DC? Some people claim he was born in Wisconsin... Hmmmm...
Edit by me xP: He was born in Washington!!! Really. In a rare verse he says: "Washington DC gave me birth, but Houston gave me milk from the breast".
According to the Motown Records article on Wikipedia, Chamillionaire was signed with them too. Understandably, Universal owns Motown, but it would be nice to get some firmer information to the labels he has been signed with. Guroadrunner 04:28, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
None of the trivia is cited, and the article sounds very biased. It means that Cham don't like people beefing... especially about the conflict with who's killing hip hop, the South or the East Coast. But on Mixtape Messiah pt. 2, he blamed Corporate America for the killing of Hip Hop.
That doesn't explain what "beefing" is. Holding a grudge? Having a row? The context seems to be displacing blame onto other people? Hyperform 05:46, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

There was a very thorough feature article in the Houston Press about the rise and fall of Mike Jones. It says about Jones:
"He'd hit unexpected turbulence at the height of his underground success, in the form of Chamillionaire's The Mixtape Messiah in early 2005. The album's three discs were almost entirely devoted to intricate and specific take-downs of Jones — for, among other things, lying about his past, his dealings with Magno and his outlandish shit-talking and braggadocio, extreme even for a rapper, which quite possibly ignited the feud."
I know very little about Chamillionaire but the omission of his 2005 Mixtape Messiah album seems to be an oversight. Does it merit a mention, along with his feud with Mike Jones? The former feud with former associate Paul Wall, is omitted but needs to be included, as it was monumental in shaping his solo career and is what allowed Chamillionaire to have a distinct solo career from his other Houston affiliates. TheHappiestCritic ( talk) 18:54, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

This article is too long and looks disorganized. I'd clean it myself but I don't know much about Chamillionaire. Jam
But you're looking at a biography about him... If you read, you'll know..
Someone should post information about the White and Nerdy song parodying White and Nerdy and how Chamillionaire said he liked it and Weird Al rapped well. I don't know enough of the story so I can't post it. - Mike Payne 03:35, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
They did include something about White and Nerdy one of his greatest honors of all. I don't we should add a section for that particular song.. Sassychick1898 05:31, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
There is no source I found that says Cham changed the release date for Ultimate Victory to June %th, his myspace has no blog that indicates this you idiot~Unsigned
yes there is go to his myspace page to his blog called.... I Just Dont Understand/ The Mind...go to the bottom he says "FYI............ "Ultimate Victory" got pushed back till june......trust me its a good thing..... I still havent turned in the album credits yet.... I was gettin worked too hard...almost overloaded" so dont talk mess when you dont know what you are talking about~Unsigned
HE DID POST IT ON HIS MYSPACE!!!! June 5th, I was waitin for march 27 now June, it has to be good, if hes buliding the suspense!~Unsigned
This article should mention Chamillionaire's decision to not use the N-word, the B-word and the H-word in his upcoming album, "Ultimate Victory". Fclass 17:05, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
on chams new blog he states he is pushing the album back as far as sept 18
What the heck does this mean?
He doesn't like meat products made from cow? Or is this a slang term? The wording here is strange and confusing to me. Also, it is a terrible run-on sentence. Hyperform 06:27, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Just go here beef Bazel 20:58, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
damn, can somebody please get a picture Bazel 04:42, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
In a recent interview 50 cent has said, "dislikeful" words towards Chamillionaire (along with Ghostface and Master P) when he heard that they claimed they would not curse in future records (I have heard nothing about that) http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/id.5465/title.50-cent-takes-aim-at-chamillionaire-master-p-ghostface
Cham has stated many times recently that any and all beefs are settled and he's "Put all that nonsense behind me" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.118.20.84 ( talk) 11:02, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

How is he saying that he hates beefs is contreversial?
Early career paragraph has sabotage in the first line. Madskile 23:15, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi, due to an OTRS complaint I have removed the information about Chamillionaire's recent marriage and his shoe-line, as these are apparently false. His publicist contacted us regarding this. ~ Riana ⁂ 11:05, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
His singles section is wrong now. Bill Collecta has been scrapped as a second single for Ultimate Victory. Chamillionaire confirmed himself that Industry Groupie is his second single on his Myspace blog.
There could be a copyright problem here. The Early career section sounds copy pasted. A Google search turns up some possible concerns. -- S.dedalus ( talk) 04:51, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
that article came after the one on wikipedia, they took it from wikipedia Bazel ( talk) 23:14, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
He is a Nigerian American and this should be made clear, as recent African immigrants and their descendants are culturally very different from the descendants of the Africans brought as slaves during the slave trade. The two shouldn't be lumped together as they are different groups. 86.129.92.149 ( talk) 13:33, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
I agree. I've now removed him from all African American categories. ElijahTM ( talk) 09:27, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
JBsupreme, why did you put him back in the categories? As has been mentioned, he is not a member of the African American ethnic group. ElijahTM ( talk) 15:45, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
[ Mosmof Mods to this page] Can't see what this user seems to have that may appear to be growing personal against 5W Public Relations, yet her edit war and then making mods to links and captions that have been on Wiki for quite some time are beginning to look like a trend. I'd recommend that thius user halt for a while and tread carefully. PalinforVeep ( talk) 13:10, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
I think his mixtapes should be added to the discography, each mixtape in the Messiah series has its own page and should be made more easily accessible. 76.6.90.16 ( talk) 19:22, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Is there any proof of this album happening any time soon? If anyone has information about this album then please mention it on the article or start a "Ready 2 Go" article it has just been sitting there in the discography blank. 76.101.122.31 ( talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 03:30, 27 September 2008 (UTC).

Sorry to come back to this, but I just noted this page. Got to it from a page re Nigeria, which listed him as as from West Nigeria. Now, I agree that he was born in the U.S.A. but Houston? or Washington DC? Earlier on this talk page, it 'seems' the question is answered, with reference to a video. Maybe good source, but.... My usual source of uncontested information is IMDB which indicates Houston as his birthplace. Can good solid reference be found for the fact? -- 67.142.161.24 ( talk) 16:02, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

I notice that the lead refers to Chamillionaire as a philanthropist, but there is no mention of philanthropy in the body of the article. One of these two things should change so that they match up. - Chunky Rice ( talk) 22:05, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
