Regarding the edit summary
This shouldn't be so difficult. 1. xx00s, not xx00's. 2. The 1800s ended in 1809. The 19th century ended in (let us say) 1899 - please review the difference.
I was taught in school that 1800's refers to all years from 1800-1899, and likewise for 1700's, 1900's, etc.-- Bedford 16:30, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
