I just finished reading the section on Caryll Houselander in Mystics, Visionaries & Prophets -- A Historical Anthology of Women's Spiritual Writings, edited by Shawn Madigan, C.S.J., published in 1998 by Fortress Press (or Augsburg Fortress), Minneapolis (Minnesota, U.S.A.), ISBN 0-8006-3145-5. At the beginning of that section, it says her dates are 1901-1949. However, in the WP article, it says she passed away in 1954. Does anyone know anything about this discrepancy?
Also, in that book, Shawn Madigan tells a different story from the one in the article about an experience Houselander had as a teenager that made her not attend a Catholic church for eight years. Perhaps both stories are true. Shall I add this other story?
Third, I just wonder why, in the list of Houselander's quotes at the end of the article, in the second quote the typeface changes from italics to regular font in the middle of the quote. Is that a simple formatting error? CorinneSD ( talk) 00:03, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
